As We Prepare

Most Protestant  churches will offer the Lord’s Supper (Communion) during their services tomorrow. This ordinance reminds believers that Christ gave His body and shed His blood  in order to atone for our sins. Sadly, mBefore The Crossany people take the elements glibly, failing to ask the Holy Spirit to examine their hearts to expose unconfessed sin.

Let that not be you tomorrow. Let that not  be me. May we prepare our hearts, even this afternoon, not with morbid introspection, but with a willingness to let Him show us ways that we have violated His will. And once we confess, let us joyfully take the bread and  the cup in proclamation of His wonderful grace toward us!

Most importantly I belong to the Lord Jesus Christ. Secondarily, I'm married to my wonderful husband, John. We've both used wheelchairs since childhood (he from Polio and me from Cerebral Palsy). I type with a headstick because I can't control my hands. I enjoy reading, creating digital art, and exploring Boston with John.
