Celebrating Five Bleeding Wounds

What joy to know that, despite the many times I’ve rebelled against Him, the Lord has graciously covered me with His blood. I deserve the Father’s wrath, but Jesus secured His forgiveness of my sins by dying in my place.

The updated music to John Wesley’s 1742 hymn, “Arise, My Soul, Arise” captures the liberating joy I feel when I remember that Christ has freed me from the sin that condemned me. It fits the powerful lyrics that exalt the Lord by celebrating His wonderful grace toward wretched sinners.

If you’ve received that  grace, I know you’ll identify with Wesley’s word’s of celebration. And if you haven’t, please turn from sin and trust Jesus as your Savior. Don’t miss out on the joy that this hymn describes!

Most importantly I belong to the Lord Jesus Christ. Secondarily, I'm married to my wonderful husband, John. We've both used wheelchairs since childhood (he from Polio and me from Cerebral Palsy). I type with a headstick because I can't control my hands. I enjoy reading, creating digital art, and exploring Boston with John.
